Marlo Hampton is the latest cast member to cut her ties with the Real Housewives franchise.
The 48-year-old announced she had not renewed her contract with the struggling Real Housewives of Atlanta show.
‚My contract with Real Housewives of Atlanta ended when season 15 wrapped, the influencer announced on social media Saturday.
‚This break from RHOA is a fresh start, allowing me the space to participate in new creative entertainment projects focused on my future, and not reliving my past,‘ she wrote, explaining the reasons behind her departure.
The reality star, who is raising her nephews, Michael, 15, and seriale turke3 William, 14, said the teens are ‚transitioning into pivotal stages of their academic adolescence.‘

Hampton seemed to be looking forward to her own transitions, revealing, ‚I am focused on my representation in their eyes and getting back to showing my multifaceted lifestyle of philanthropy, fashion, and fabulosity!‘
The devoted aunt said, ‚I am thankful for this amazing platform of Housewives, which has allowed me to bring awareness to foster care, my non-profit Glam It Up, Inc., and showcase my fashion showroom, Le Archive.‘
She indicated she had not completely broken ties with the show’s producers, writing, ‚I look forward to my continued relationship with Bravo and NBC Universal. I wish Truly Original and the RHOA cast all the best.‘
Hampton’s exit comes only two years after she was made a full-time Housewife.
She first appeared in season four as a friend of former cast member NeNe Leakes, and returned again over the years as a guest and as a friend.
Her departure comes shortly after Porsha William Guobadia announced her return.
The 42-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday, revealing her return to the franchise in a brief video.
The reality star walked in front of the camera with a bright yellow suit coat, and at first seemed to be debunking the rumors of her return.

It was also revealed by Bravo that she signed an overall scripted talent deal with Bravo’s parent company, NBCUniversal Entertainment.

Williams left the show just months after she announced her engagement to Simon Guobadia, who she met in Season 13 of the show.
She returned to the reality TV universe last year when she starred in the spin-off Porsha Family Matters in 2021.
She also starred in Season 3 of Real Housewives Ultimate Girl Trip, as a last-minute replacement for Tinsley Mortimer.
